Day 25: Fourth of July!

 Today was quite an eventful day!
 This morning we went to the Cedar City parade! It was really cool seeing all of the floats! I think the coolest one was the Lightning McQueen one! The popular thing to do at the parade for a lot of the floats was to squirt everyone who was watching with water guns. This happened several times and we got a little wet. At night, we went to the top of a parking garage to watch fireworks. We had a pretty good view of the entire city's fireworks show and it was fun to watch more than one show at once. All in all it was a good day and we had a lot of fun!

Day 17: Abandoned Golf Course!

For today's adventure we went to an abandoned mini golf course! There was a ton of weeds and the course was in pretty bad shape but we still decided to play on it. While we were waiting for our friend who had the putters to get there, we decided to play by rolling the ball with our hands. It was a little hard to see the balls in the night time and it especially sucked when they got stuck in the weeds. But we used our phones to light the path and had a ton of fun! We really want to buy the course and fix it up. Cedar City definitely needs a mini golf course. Have you guys ever been to any abandoned places?

Day 1: Sock Puppets!!

Aaaaalright! Today was our first official day of adventuring!!! And sock puppets won as the idea for our first activity! So.... of course that's what we did :). Not gunna lie, this was a little too much fun to do. We definitely felt like little kids!! Thanks everyone who participated in our poll- be sure to do the new one!

Tradition (last preview day!)



We used lots of quarters this time but it's
the best when you have to use a gazilion
pennies. 



 So for our last preview day (June 9) we did something that became a tradition for us last  year, to sort of wrap things up and get things ready for our first real adventure! We bought   50 cent tacos at Del Taco at midnight. We started doing this when we had homework   coming out of our ears one night and we needed a break. We were super hungry BUT we didn't feel like eating anything at our house and we didn't really wanna spend money. So,     we gathered all the coins we had and went and bought some 50 cent tacos. Now it's a tradition to go every once in a while. Its fun, cheap, and yummy! 

We always look really good at this time of night...hehe



Get ready...Get set...

We are 2 college girls that have lived in Cedar City for 2 years now and we are ready to spice things up!!! We are planning on completing one adventure for every day we are together during the summer of 2011- which is a total of 73 days! If you have any ideas for things you want to see us do feel free to let us know! Everything has to be less than $10 (or not too much higher) and the best ones are usually free-ish (like blowing bubbles, star gazing, getting our unicorn hunting licenses, or taking a gold fish on a walk). We start June 10th but you can give ideas anytime- we are open to suggestions! Thanks for your help :)
